Avon stepped into the industry with its intra-city courier services in Chennai. Our distinctive approach was far ahead of the times. Within a very short period, Avon proved its mettle with its ability to resolve queries, cure databases, and streamline processes at reasonable costs.

In 1998-99, our first mailroom opportunity opened the doors to a bigger niche vertical. Entrusted with managing the dispatch division of a prominent multinational bank, we brought about a sea of change with our automated solutions and well-trained human resources.

From then on, our journey has been non-stop. We have come a long way from transforming the bank to a full-fledged, technologically-synchronised pulsing centre to redefining the corporate mailrooms of the 21st century.

Raghunandana is the Founder & Managing Director - UDS, one of India’s largest integrated facilities management and business support services company. He has over 30 years of experience in the service industry as an Entrepreneur.

Ameer Basha
Director

Postgraduate in commerce with more than 2 decades of experience in Finance and accounts, Procurement, Payroll and taxation matters across various service industries. He has a strong understanding of financial concepts, regulations, and reporting requirements, as well as proficiency with accounting systems. Ameer Basha has been associated with UDS for nearly 19 years and handled various key functions.

Jigyasa Sharma
Director

Jigyasa Sharma is a Director on the Board of our Company. She is a Smart Communities Program Manager at US Ignite, where she spearheads initiatives addressing a spectrum of technology policy issues within US Ignite communities. With a keen focus on innovation districts (testbeds), connectivity, mobility, digital trust, data governance, equity, and community engagement, Jigyasa has made significant contributions to projects with the National Science Foundation (NSF), Purdue Research Foundation, and Toyota Mobility Foundation. Bringing a wealth of experience in economics and policy, Jigyasa has an extensive background in collaborating with non-profits and government entities in diverse global settings, including the United States, Singapore, India, China, and Indonesia. Jigyasa's academic journey is marked by academic excellence, having earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Delhi, India, a Master’s Degree in Applied Economics from the National University of Singapore, and a second Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the prestigious University of California, Berkeley.

K Krishna Kumar

Popularly known as KK, K Krishna Kumar was the founder of Avon Solutions & Logistics Pvt. Ltd. He was associated with the courier/logistics industry since 1985 and leading Avon right from the year 1996.

In the mid 90’s he founded Avon Solutions at Chennai and Mumbai; Started with 4 employees and built a base of 300 employees within a span of less than 4 years, currently at 800+.

Being Tech savvy he also believed that technology is the way forward and had been investing a large amount of his time and effort in process of automation and application development and he had successfully implemented the most sophisticated and exhaustive software application in mailroom management today.
